Day 5

Good afternoon, everybody,

Well, loss this morning was only 0.8 again. But it's a loss nonetheless... Maybe when my TOM (time of month) decides to leave the losing will increase. :)

I woke up feeling not too well this morning. :-( Had a Melba toast, Left for class, drank 40oz of water during the hour-long drive, took a midterm, came home and slept a little more, got up and took my drops, and just had lunch.

I ate the hcg chili for lunch (yummy as usual) but could barely finish it. So I skipped my fruit... may have it later for a snack.

I'm taking my two kids (ages 3 and 4) to Chick-fil-A for Dr. Suess night tonight... After reviewing their nutritional information online, I think I'll be eating before or after we go. They use sugar, dextrose, maltose (all the "oses") and tons of salt on their grilled chicken! Ugh... The side salad looks like a safe option if I can get them to make me one with just lettuce. Lite Italian Dressing is a "no go" because of all the sodium. Berry Vinaigrette I suppose could be used in place of my fruit, and it has only 150mg of sodium. May choose that option and just eat my protein beforehand. Gosh, I wish this was an easy decision! I don't want my kids to wonder why Mommy isn't eating with them. And I think I'll want to eat something if I'm around all of that delicious food so it's best to know my options prior to going so I don't completely tank the protocol for this diet!

Anyways, the hunger isn't as bad today. :) So there is hope! Yay! I start my new job tomorrow working for the Clerk of Superior Courts and will stay super busy, so hopefully that'll be beneficial to my dieting efforts (i.e. keeping my mind off of potential hunger, food I wish I could eat, etc.)

Going to look for some inspirational stories online now to increase my motivation... Hard to get it going when you're sick. Wish me luck and I shall do the same for all of you! Best wishes,

Day 4: Woo Hoo!

Good morning... or shall I say GREAT morning! :)

First weigh in after starting the 500cal yesterday was awesome! I'm down to 244.6. Now, yes, that is only 0.8 from my starting weight, BUT I did gain to 248.8 during loading soooo... I am down 4.2 lbs since yesterday's weigh in! Pretty cool, huh? I cannot wait for tomorrow's now that I've gotten rid of the loading weight (plus some!).

Just took my drops a few minutes ago. 3 more minutes until I can start drinking my water! And yeah, that is exciting right now because I am SO thirsty! Not at all hungry, thank goodness, but definitely feeling a little parched.

Day 3: R1P2D1 :)

Greetings fellow hcg'ers and friends,

For those of you who do not know, the "R1P2D1" from the title of this post means "Round 1 Phase 2 Day 1"

That's right, Day 1 of Phase 2, and I am happy to report that it has been a complete SUCCESS! Yay! I've exceeded my gallon of water, stuck to the protocol to a T, and faired pretty well as far as hunger goes. I only got a little hungry just before dinner time. :)

So, what did I eat? Well, for lunch I had grilled chicken (seasoned with lemon juice and pepper) atop a bed of spinach leaves, topped with a crumbled Melba toast and a little red wine vinegar (yes, it's hcg-friendly), and 1/2 of a naval orange on the side. It was great, and I was stuffed afterward! Dinner was also pretty great... I made the chili from the recipe on the HCG Recipes and Cooking Ideas facebook page. It was fun to make (even for someone like me who dislikes cooking!) and tasted wonderful. It was also quite filling!

I'm saving my strawberries from dinner to have a little bit later. I just couldn't eat another bite after the chili... Oh, and did I mention it made two extra servings?! How great is that?

So all in all, Day 1 of Phase 2 has been awesome! Looking forward to tomorrow and the days following, and to seeing the weight melt off! I'm wishing you all the best of luck and sweetest dreams... Goodnight!

Day 2: Loading has come to an end! Yay!

Wow! Hey everyone!!

Loading Day 2 has come to an end for me and I am thrilled! Honestly, I feel sick to my stomach from it. But, tomorrow Phase 2 and the weight loss begin!! :)

Update on my loading day eats since my last post:  guacamole w/ chips, Thin Mints, pb and banana sandwich, cajun fries, red beans and rice, and finally, ice cream. Whew! Thank goodness it's over!

Day 3 (or Day 1 of Phase 2, however you want to look at it) starts tomorrow! Everything is prepared except my meat and veggie for dinner. I think I'll be making the hcg-approved chili. :)

Oh, and just a little heads up for those of you who have not yet begun loading, Smooth Move Tea is definitely NOT needing in the loading phase! Lol. Good luck!

Day 2: Shopping! (And Saving!!)

Hi Everyone!!

I have finished my grocery shopping for week 1 of phase 2... Only spent $25!!! Can't beat that! Also picked up a digital kitchen scale (Walmart's Mainstays brand- works great!).

I've pre-made all of my lunches for the week plus part of my dinners. Going to cook up something HCG approved with lean ground beef later to complete the week's meals. Not sure what that'll be but I'll be sure to let y'all know what it is and how it turns out!

So far on Loading Day 2, I've had two eggs with cheese and a turkey burger with cheese and mayo. I know, I need to step it up and load up! It's just so hard because I am not at all hungry. Oh well, my body will be thanking me later on, during phase 2, when all of this unwanted fat will be melting off! So ready for that!!

Day 2: LOADING DAY 2

Hey y'all!

Okay, so today is Loading Day 2 for me... I am going for the healthy fats today. Eggs, dairy, avocados, etc. are on the list. I am definitely making some guacamole! :)

Also on today's agenda: Shopping! Grocery shopping, that is. I'm going to get everything I need for week 1 of phase 2 and premake all of my meals today. Sure, that means reheating, but better to reheat than cheat, right?! I don't cook much, and often don't have the time with work, school, and kids, so I plan to keep it down to one day a week, cooking for the whole week.

I am going to check out my local natural foods store, too. Maybe I'll find some yummy stevia drops!

Drops taken, 15 minutes have passed, now off to have breakfast: Eggs with cheese and hopefully some veggies (if I have any in the fridge, lol)!

Day 1: FIRST LOADING DAY... Ahhh, I'm drowning in the fat! ;)

Hello Everyone!

I've been inspired by a fellow hcg dieter to create this blog to document my journey on the HCG Triumph drops and diet. I have never blogged before, so please bear with me!

So, today is Day 1 for me! Yes, that means it has been the first of two Loading Days. And honestly? I feel sick! Bleh, having to load up on the fat isn't as great as some people make it sound. But to each their own! Loading Day 2 tomorrow then I start the 500cal diet on Sunday. I am super excited!!

Hopefully my posts-to-come will be a little more substancial than this one. And I'll get some before pics posted as soon as I figure out how to navigate this blog!

Oh, and by the way, I am starting this journey at 245.4 pounds and I am 5' 5.5"... My goal weight is 150. So 95.4 lbs to go!
